Taos' Technical Interview Process
Taos leverages its proven Technical Interview (TIV) process to ensure our consultants represent the best IT talent in the Bay Area. TIVs are in-depth phone interviews which last between 1-2 hours. The TIVs are based on our skill matrices, which cover a broad spectrum of technical skills, for the following major skill area:
TIVs allow participants to display their depth of knowledge from the novice to the advisory level. The more senior and/or diverse the participant's skill set is, the longer the interview will be due to the greater depth and breadth of material the interviewer will need to cover.
In addition to technical competency, Taos' TIV is designed to evaluate the interviewee's communication skills, troubleshooting capability, JIT (just in time) learning ability, strengths, areas for improvement and environments he/she is best suited for.
