The electronics division of a multi-national Global 2000 leader in interactive entertainment software.

Problem
The client needed a way to flexibly augment their existing Enterprise Distributed Desktop Support staff as their requirements evolve over time. The team's needs range from Windows desktop support to senior Unix administration, data management, and the maintenance of the network environments of the various work groups.

Taos Solution
Taos staffs approximately half of this team and has successfully evolved and changed skill sets along the way to meet the evolving needs of the client environment over the course of a three year relationship.

Supported Deployment

The key to success in this engagement has been a close relationship between Taos and our client to ensure we work collaboratively to understand the changing needs of the end-user community so as to plan staff development and rotations according to environmental challenges in a timely manner. The Taos Staff Manager worked diligently to ensure our staff document their work and made transitions to new team members as seamless as possible.

Results

The result has been a flexible support organization sized and skilled dynamically and correctly to support the software engineering team within tight cost constraints.
